Beth-Ann Crawford

Beth touched more hearts than anyone we know.  Always up and going, even when she didn't feel like it, but thought you did. She was so cute in her fuzz as she called it, but put on a scarf when we went into Carlata's for lunch as she didn't want to upset people. Always thinking of other people before herself. She was the best friend a person could have. We miss you kiddo. Till next time.................

Spastic.   I'll never forget the first time I heard that word used in a sentence.  I know it's difficult to believe but Beth used it to describe Jason once when he was about five.  Any time I hear the word I think about that day and I always chuckle.  Beth had the quickest wit, and most wry sense of humor I can remember anyone having.  Definitely on my top five list for the most hilarious people I have ever known.   

 

I'll never forget that smile, that incredible laugh, and those amazing cinnamon rolls.    

 

Beth had a way of making you feel special, what a beautiful soul.  We're all better people for having know her.

I met Beth and Charlie in the mid 70's, right after I first moved to Oracle.  Beth was one of the most loving, accepting and gracious people I've ever met.  She was a great cook, and a very fun person to be around.  If you were feeling down, one minute with Beth and your troubles were gone.  I'll really miss our "wine tasting" sessions we had at her kitchen table, and of course by the end of the evening, we had solved all of the world's problems.  If there really are Angels among us, Beth Crawford was surely one of them.  I will truly miss her smile, her laughter and her friendship. I know she will guide Charlie well and give him the strength he needs until they are together again in Heaven. 

Everybody loved Beth.  If you didn't love Beth, you probably "had issues," as they say, or you hadn't met her yet.  We were lucky to enjoy sharing lives with Beth for many years, never a dull moment with her!  This was especially true after Toni's passing when Beth and Karen reached out to each other.  We will dearly miss her smile, her love, her attitude, and the pasties and other goodies that she cooked up.  Her courage and forbearance in the face of her own death were admirable, but this was just in character for Beth, who gave so much to so many.  We'll all have to live a long time before we meet anyone so sweet and kind.

Que buena amiga

Both of us only wish we would have known you longer. How I loved our chats and sharing stories. And Joe loved how you motivated him to improve his shooting. I send this in bigger print because you always wanted it that way. You will not be forgotten. What a jewel of a friend.
