How do you say good bye to a dear friend that was always there when you needed her support, advice, and friendship. Beth was these and much more in my life. I'll miss you Beth.

I can't say enough how glad I am that a beautiful soul like Beth touched my life. I am happy for all the memories I have at the house and all the good times tha were shared. I am sad she has passed, not for the fact she is gone, but for the regrets I hold onto. I didn't come visit enough, I didn't bring my son around for Beth to see more, I never got to say goodbye.....

I know that where Beth is, she's looking down on all of us, watching us and still trying to guide us the right direction. For most of us, our path is not clear, but that can never be said of Beth. She knew what she was doing all the time. Her goals weren't always clear to us, but we didn't bother cuz we all had complete faith and trust in her.

And her cooking......there is no way to describe her cooking. She put so much of her love into everything she cooked. We all knew that no matter if we were hungry or not, within minutes of being at the house, you would be eating something delicious.

It has been a few years since I last went to the house, but I look back at those years and regret everyday I was available and never made plans to go visit or even to make a phone call. I will truly miss her, but I know that she will always be with me in my heart and memories with all the funny and wise things she would say. Along with asking, "What Would Jesus Do?", I think I'm also going to ask, "What Would Beth Do?" Well where do I start...Beth was the one who got my ears pierced and got the wrath of mom. She was always there for me and anyone who needed a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on or someone to help you do the wild and crazy thoughts. I will miss the hunting, shooting and laughter that I have shared with her. She has been in my life since I was small, a second mother. But now she is in heaven with my dad and I know what a party that is going to be, so its not goodbye...it's see you later. We will miss you and love you forever.

Ive known Beth almost all my whole career. She was the "den mother" to many young Highway Patrolman. It was not un-common to stop by to see Charlie and find he was not at home but end up staying for hours talking with Beth. She was a wealth of knowledge and good advice. (And fried pies, cinnamon rolls, burros and hot coffee!) Charlie, Travis, Jason, Dove, Kim and Will; i know the coming times will be tough. take Beths Shooting advice she ALWAYS gave me. "Just breathe and follow through and you will hit your target.)

Dear Family and Friends,

We are sad that we cannot be there in AZ for the service tomorrow, but please know we are all gathered in spirit and will celebrate Beth's life and the happiness she shared with everyone.

As many have stated in the Memories, Beth was an instant friend.

This piece says it well:

              A friend is one who knows you as you are;

              understands where you've been;

              accepts who you've become;

              and still gently invites you to grow.

See you in paradise, Dear Beth...
